unm is Hiring a Corporate Relations Manager Near Albuquerque, NM

Project ECHO is experiencing exponential growth and is currently seeking a Corporate Relations Manager to join our team!

The Corporate Relations Manager will report to the Director of Corporate Relations and will help build the internal capacity to steward and manage an increasingly larger portfolio of prospects and funders.

As the Corporate Relations Manager, you will:

·Perform Outreach and engage with prospective funders.

·Coordinate and attend funder meetings: pitching, taking notes, and following up on next steps

·Build and steward funder relationships, sharing outreach collateral about funding opportunities while engaging and building trust with potential and existing funders.

·Identify and document best practices and processes for stewarding prospective and existing funders

·Attend webinars and conferences for networking opportunities to cultivate new prospects as well as learn about funding opportunities

  • Document fundraising activities in Salesforce and with the fundraising team, develop processes for leveraging Salesforce strategically. Create reports that inform our fundraising strategy.

·Utilize Advance Software to coordinate as needed with the UNM Foundation on prospective funders and document gifts processed through the Foundation

·Develop, research, write, edit, or oversee the preparation of persuasive, accurate, and grammatically and syntactically correct solicitations, pitches, proposals, case statements, reports, correspondence, and other development-related communication materials as required

·In collaboration with the Communications Team, develop fundraising collateral such as presentations, flyers, social media posts and other appropriate material.

·Conduct research to identify prospects and creating strategies to match prospects' interests to the priorities of Project ECHO

  • Collaborate with the grants team in the creation of Concept Notes and Proposals
  • Serve as a liaison between the department and the UNM Foundation around gift management
  • Create and establish strategic partnerships that may lead to funding opportunities
